Shut up. They're fucking RODENTS. If an owl or hawk doesn't get to them, then anyone with a phobia probably will break out poisons, traps, or just plain shoot them with whatever magic they have. Pikachu's got the benefit of looking cute, but the other one is still an actual rat no matter how you spin it.
It ain't a big deal, they don't take much space or anything. But if you want, go for it, seems like the two kinda drift to whoever will take them in when they need.
