I'd like that, actually. If there's one thing I appreciate about this place, it's seeing all sorts of things I couldn't ever imagine back home.
[ He laughs, and this time it's light and airy, more genuine than he often is when he's being social. All the same he has the mind to at least sound a little apologetic when he realizes he's never introduced himself. ]
Right sorry. Vash the Stampede. But just Vash is fine. Hopefully we meet in person sooner than Autumn, though.
[There was something to be said for expanding horizons. He hates to give the Golden Peacock any credit whatsoever but there were some benefits. There were plentiful food, people, and experiences here. It was, for many, a glimpse of a life they never would have dreamed of. Now, if only they weren't so amorous.]
A stampede? Ah, well, I suppose even a desert can have stampeding animals.
[It's a strange choice for a title but he doesn't pry further about its origin or meaning. There were times and places for such things.]
Vash, then. I do tend to stick to my room more often than not... but I'll occasionally walk around the shopping district or Vale to stretch my legs.
[It's nicer to imagine meeting under those circumstances than any of the raucous games.]
The vale though... can't say I blame you. I think I like visiting there the most when I can. It reminds me of the gardens on the ship when I was younger. Sort of, anyway. It's a little more wild.
[ It's not real, but it does seem to try. The next best thing maybe? Especially for someone like Vash who hasn't seen much greenery outside very controlled arboretums on space ships. ]
When I was a lot younger, my brother and I would try to grow things on the ship we were on. Maybe it'd be nice to try again.
[ a pause ]
What's it like? Being able to tell the difference.
[That does paint a lovely picture, two brothers with that kind of goal. Surely nothing bad would ever happen to a pair of brothers like that.]
What's it like? Hm... how to describe it...
[Like seeing the particle effect of a Shiny creature? Like Iridium Star quality? Like a SSR card coming out of a gacha pull?]
A wild plant has its own energy that it devotes wholeheartedly to surviving. That energy is singularly focused on itself. When a person cares for a plant, it can be cultivated beyond what would be its natural limits. These plants are, in a sense, overflowing.
When I see many of the plants in the Vale, they are beautiful but... I see a half-filled cup. They may not be Blighted or completely deprived of energy but the absence concerns me.
[This world didn't seem to be in decay, like their was before the onset of Blight, but it wasn't what he could call "healthy."]

Maybe we'll run into each other there.

[It's not real, it's not natural but it's the closest any of them can get to natural here.]
And a few people do take it upon themselves to care for specific plants. I can tell at a glance which ones have had one of our kind caring for them.
[They didn't produce Rune Energy but... again, it was the closest he's seen in this place.]
And perhaps you can "people watch" while caring for some, as well. [Then, certainly, he'd be drawn to whatever area had those sparks of energy.]
